The CCHL2 regular season has arrived.

The Brockville Tikis open their 2019-2020 campaign at home against Westport on Wednesday night. The puck will drop at the Memorial Centre at 7:45.

The Athens Aeros suffered three losses to end the pre-season on the weekend. The Rideaus defeated the Jr. B Aeros 10-1 in Westport on Friday night. Keagan Johnston had a hat trick for the home team; Tommy Catterill scored the lone goal for Athens, which was outshot 70-21. To conclude the home-and-home series, the Rideaus beat the Aeros 8-2 at Centre 76 on Saturday night. Matthew Seed scored three goals and added two assists for Westport; Nolan Brien and Jesse McCoy had the Athens goals.

The Aeros were shut out by the Blue Wings 6-0 in Perth on Sunday. Shots were 56-8 for the home team. Matthew Maas made 50 saves in the loss.

Athens opens the regular season in Perth on Friday night. Brockville will visit Centre 76 for the home opener on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
